Senior League
Ages: 15 and 16 years old
Pitching: Players pitch, 105 pitches per day
The Senior League Baseball
Division is a program for boys and girls ages 15-16, using a
conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6
inches.
Junior League
Ages: 13 and 14 years old
Pitching: Players pitch, 95 pitches per day
The Junior League Baseball
Division is a program for boys and girls ages 13-14, using a
conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6
inches.
Major League (Little League)
Ages: 11 and 12 years old
Pitching: Players pitch, 85 pitches per day
All players must attend an evaluation session.
Players will be evaluated on their
ability in batting, throwing, catching and running and placed on a
team through a draft process. They generally will have two games a
week and will have practices throughout the season.
Minor Nationals
Ages: 9 and 10 years old
Pitching: Players pitch, 75 pitches per day
All players must attend an evaluation session
to be guaranteed team placement. Players for each team will be
drafted. Teams will
usually have a game during the week and a game on Saturday. Teams
will generally practice twice a week before the season starts and once a week during the season.
Minor American
Ages: 7-8 years old
Pitching: Machine or coach pitch
Skill development is the primary focus of this division. Coaches
will start pitching at the beginning of the season with the goal to
develop a few players to pitch by the end of the season.
T-Ball
Ages: 5 and 6 years olds|
Pitching: Hitting off T
Tee Ball Baseball is for boys and girls 5-6 years old who want
to learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding. In Tee Ball,
players hit a ball off a batting tee. Rules of the game will vary to
accommodate the need for teaching. The primary goals of Tee Ball are
to instruct children in the fundamentals of baseball and to allow
them to experience the value of teamwork. Rosters may be composed of
between 12 and 20 players, but most leagues have rosters in the
12-15 range. No live pitching is permitted in this division. Tee
ball is played on a 60 foot field.
Softball
Ages: 8-14 years olds|
Softball is for girls 8-14 years old who want to learn the
fundamentals of hitting and fielding.
As part of the registration fee,
all players receive pants, jersey, socks and a cap which they can
keep. Generally, managers and coaches will conduct two practices
before the season and one practice during the season. Games
occur on a weekday and Saturday. |
